Kids and Educational Support

“Gifting the Future!”  The AALP has stayed true to its mission to pledge to stimulate the intellectual, socioeconomic and participatory growth…”  Our motto, Preserving the past; gifting the future, serves us well in what we do.  The AALP has supported the children in this community with the help of your dollars!  But there is so much more we could do with your continued financial support.  It is our goal to reach even more children in the upcoming year with more—programs aimed at keeping them safe and surrounded by positive role models, which is well worth every penny.  Your help today, will make it possible for us to create more safe-havens and educational fun for children in this community! Donate today and help us continue gifting the future!

In 2014, the AALP launched our Kids educational pieces to all 3rd graders in Toledo Public Schools.  These pieces are produced monthly (Jan - Apr).  Each month covers a national notable African American and 2 local African Americans who have or are providing positive leadership and moral value to our community.  The piece also includes puzzles, games and book suggestions related to the monthly theme.
